Help - Please

My computer has somehow been hijacked and it is driving me insane. No matter where I am (whether in IE, or browsing My Documents, or on MSN) my scroll bar is automatically going up and down like crazy. It is fucked, and ocassionally it automatically clicks buttons for me, or sends me back a couple of pages.

I have tried Norton, Adaware, and Trojan removers and nothing. I just reformated last night and wiped my whole harddrive and it is still fucking here!! What the hell can it be? How the hell can it survive even after I wiped my harddrive? Please some help would be much much appreciated as it is driving me insane.

is your control key stuck by any chance? my comp was doin weird shit and it wound up my control key being stuck

Disconnect your keyboard and mouse, see if it stops.

sucks man... hope you figure it out... I was going to say is PC anywhere installed... but if you reformated. Then I dont know, try unpluging the keyboard.

No way, I changed my mouse and keyboard and everything seems to be fine. I am waiting though, sometimes it stops and starts up again. BUt if this was all over a fucking mouse and keyboard!! I guess atleast I can be happy that it has finally stopped, so long as it holds out. Thanks a heap (you don't understand how crazy this was driving me - I could hardly even do any work) so I will keep you posted as to whether it is gone for good.

Yep, come to think of it I use the little scroll wheel on top often - and it did seem that it set it off. I only hope that this is the end of it!
