    Ioncube PHP accelarator

    Anyody use this?

    I put it on my box and doesnt seem to be to juicy

    Anybody have good results with it?

        juicy,

        use the one from ZEND if you use any...

        we used another PHP accelerator for a weeks on a high-trafficed site, not sure anymore if it was Ioncube, and it messed up totally

          We use Ioncube on all shared servers. Have not had one complaint thus far.

          Compared to Zend, it seemed to lower CPU usage a little more (in the 5% range).

          W/o any accelleration/caching it seems to lower cpu usage quite a bit, in some cases 20-35% depending what is on the machine.

          So.. I guess you may have mixed results, but ours have all been posistive.
