URGENT Windows Help Please...........

My Computer Crashed the other night so I had todo a fresh install,
I have an Old folder that I selected to not share with other users, from the previous Windows install I now can't get access to It when Logged in with the fresh Install

I get the following error

C:\Documents and Settings\Grandad\Desktop\thefolder is not accessible

Access is Denied


anyone know how I can get access to this folder
