Question about galleries

Do you think the design of a gallery influences the surfer in his decision to sign up at your sponsor ? No, I don't mean the CTR, and I don't mean the content. Obviously the content should be good and appropriate for the site you're promoting, but do you really think a surfer can get impressed by a gallery enough to signup once he clicked his way thru to the paysite ?
Might sound like a dumb question, but I just thought of that.

i think its all about the quality of the tour. only way i could think it could directly influence it is if the paysite is 'janes paysite' and the gallery is of jane herself.

Sure, in one way or another. It's just a matter of testing, testing, testing till you find what works for you. But in saying that I don't mean you should in the least bit get caught up in minor details like page color, text color, blah blah. It's easy to waste energy over thinking things. Just blast 'em out and track 'em

Actually yes the design does have somewhat an effect... it may have a small effect on ratios, but it still have an effect
