    setting browser attributes

Can anyone help me with the following problem....and yes ive spent the last hour on google looking for a solution with no luck.

I have a popup window and i would like to have the address bar be hidden. I know i can do it if the window is opened from a link but is there anyway to have the window itself set its own attributes to disable the address bar?

any help would be much appreciated....

          k, very close thanks OzMan!

to clarify the pape is a pop up...not a clicked link. Is it even possible to have a browser set its own attributes? specifically hiding the address bar......
