            Personally I have HTML off in my email reader, if I want HTML I'll read a website.

            If you can, it would be better to put both, if the reader has HTML switched off, the person can still read the contents of your email.

              Good trick:

              Put a text version in an html comment at the top, then the HTML version below, after closing the comment.

                      I'm just wondering what will give overall better performance. I'm running a test today. HTML has always done me well, but I haven't given text a chance for the past 2 years.

                      I'll have plain Text results in shortly.
