Windows XP or Windows 2000 - What system is more stable and less buggy?

I use 98se, but from what I read & from other posts here, it seems 2000 is the better option, lots of people complain about xp & bugs in it..

I gots me the Win2k Pro warez edition and let me tell you, this thing never crashes.
I almost cant believe it is a Microsoft product.

win2k works really fine, no crashes and so on. I don't like WinXP, there are too many colors.

I got Win XP on my new laptop and within a week I was sending it back to Compaq to get Win 2000 installed. Havn't had a problem with 2000 yet
My two cents are only worth half that

XP = extra problems
nah, that's not true, win xp is quite stable, but it's very very slow, that's why i prefer the good oldies!

maybe we have the same serial number
Alley_Cat, stay away from XP, i have several friends that uses them and all face small or big problems.
