    They have some prices at
    http://www.rackspace.com/products/recommended/linux.php
otherwise, you have to contact them. I don't use them, but I have only heard good things about them. For the price, they better be good.

They are excellent, but a bit high. I guess you do get what you pay for though. I never had any downtime with them.

excellent.. Rackspace gives me an instant orgasm..

Been with them since 98 or 99 and although i could have it 4-6 times cheaper their superb network and ALWAYS available support makes me sleep well at night.

Their business model is build around support and calling
Dec 31 23:59 their time will give you a support rep within
          10 seconds.

If you burn a lot of bandwidth, do galleries or other traffic burning sites dont go there: you still pay 1998 prices ;)

If you need a solid web presence that cant be fucked around with: go rackspace. No alternative.

I used to host some of my mainstream sites with them. The box was always up, support was great, but their bandwidth prices are horrendous.... which is why I moved

                    Bandwidth costs are a joke.

                    The support staff are excellent.

                    The management a horror story.

Lesson is... if you don't mind higher costs and good tech support and a never ending nightmare if the management get in your way - go Rackspace!

A company that claims "fanatical support" needs a dictionary to choose some more "balanced" wording

Perfectly said. I consider Rackspace one of the best hosts for mission critical sites. They're not cheap but you get what you pay for, excellent service and uptime all the time. One of the best by far and I've been with them a solid 4 years now. Hell I was one of their first customers, still got a 3 digit customer number
