digital camera is no good for this, piss poor quality.

it isnt the camera, its the control of the light any good 2 Megapixel camera is fine for web work, but if you dont know anything about lighting your results will be hit or miss.

do you know what the aperture ring is for?
the shutter speed?
do you know what depth of Field is?
3 point lighting?
key light?
fill flash?
color temp?
ISO?
the rule of thirds?
