Need help with malware!

I dispise malware. I am having to scrub my machine with lavasoft nearly everyday now.

What is the best why to keep this nasty malware from even loading on my machine?

try download.com for a firewall program to keep the garbage out

or hit up google for a firewall program

I have a firewall on my router but apparently it is lacking. Thanks for the idea. Will go looking for one now.

i would do this

taskmanager, then look for weird exes, do a google search to find out what they are to double check

then do a search on your computer to find those exes, leave the search open when it is done

go to start, run, regedit then hit control f at the top to search through your registry, search for that exe. find all the spots in your registry and remove them. go to your task manager and kill the app there, then remove it from when you searched

now empty your rec bin and reboot
