Rip off pro professions

Just wanted to start the thread to see what others can come up with or have to say about Professions that are a SURE RIP OFF.
"Computer Techs"
If you can not work on your computer and have to take it to some store, you know what I mean. Usually my friends come to me to work on theirs, I have heard some horror stories about computer techs, like people that take a computer to get a modem put in and they tell them it will be finished in 3 days, and when they come to get it, the modem cost $150.00 and labor was $100. Give me a fucking break! How long does it take to put in a modem? I know I can put one in and it takes me about 20 to 40 minutes to have it in and working. I told my friend that for $250 she could have bought a new barebone system with a faster processor, network card and a modem.

So, for all those over priced computer techs.. GO FUCK YOURSELF

How about lawyers? Anyone here ever been sued?

The opposing lawyers already seem to know each other on a first name basis before the case even begins, which is always a bad sign. They do nothing for 6 months at a time, until they decide to send out some letters to each other stating their position for the tenth time. The matter is put on hold again, as one party isn't willing to settle...or can't be reached...or they can't find such and such document...then you get a bill for $1000 plus the cost of their paper, faxes, and phone bills. And the case is no closer to being settled. This process goes on for years. Why? It seems like they just like to fire off letters to each other and charge you their $150 per hour fee for doing it. I bet all the lawyers are laughing at us.

I work for the agency so the companies don't have to worry about contracts etc.
So why do they agencies think it's ok to screw me out of anything between £30 to, get this, £500 a day????

Yeah, $150 is cheap. My lawyer is $140/hr and totally awesome. She specializes in entertainment and intellectual property, so I'm set.

Well I dont get sued , but I've done some suing from my end.. My Lawyers are great, the Law Firm Of "We Fuckem & How"
They always win..

Now Doctors, what scam artists.. They are ruining the insurance industry. They bill your insurance a full hour and add misc Bull shit charges also for stuff you never see, because they dont give you the bill they send it in to the insurance company. Then at the same time they have 6-10 patients in separate rooms all getting charged for the same hour visit......Geessshhhh
Thats like getting a surfer to sign up for Amat Pages, and us getting paid from Lensman, and then also getting paid from CEN, Mayor, CE, ARS etc... for the same 1 surfer.. Hey that would be nice..
