Format C: Question..

So.. i'm trying to kill this computer for a fresh install..

Running Format C: gives me:

The type of the file system is NTFS.
Enter current volume label for drive C:

An incorrect volume label was entered for this drive.

WTF?

Break out the sledgehammer instead

Boot up with a windows cd and format through the install (don't do a quick format either)

Why don't you boot from the cd and choose to format during the install setup?

then format c:

I'll just run the win2k cd like normal
