What do you guys use? I'm looking for something that handles referring URLs better.

Look through the config files for webalizer. You can set it so it won't show you your own URL's as refs. There are many options in it that can be used to get much better results. Most people just never look.

Try AccessProbe from accessprobe.com it does great stats ignores images and can even remove the log entries for image files if you want it to which can reduce your log files by 70-80% and with a slight modification you can set up a cron function to clean your log files daily

If you want to get webalizer to ignore your own domain, just add

-r domain.com

to the cron job. Works like a charm.

no problem, if you are installing it on multiple sites and ensim is your control panel, let me know as i know where there is a much easier option for installing it.

I would suggest AWStats as well. It has the one of the most detailed outputs and it's not that slow if you tweak it right.
