Video Trailers Needed

Ok I am looking for someone to make 1-3 minute trailers for 90 minute adult movies. These shouldn't take more then an hour each to make so we are paying $20 a piece with 5 movies at a time. Your turn around time should be a week tops for all 5. You will be working with finished pro-shot adult movies (most will be classics) in WMV format (500MB). If you are interested reply to this post with sample trailer urls.

We can also discuss working for content licenses if you would prefer.

Sounds like your under-estimating the time involved here. The tapes will all have to be captured onto a editing machine and if you have 5 tapes at 90 mins each, that's 7 1/2 hours of just capture time and then pulling clips into 1-3 min trailer would take approx another 90 mins. And putting music, text, graphics to the trailers, then you'll have to export and encode the clips and then upload to a server or export the clip back to the tape. So when all is said and done, all 5 tapes could easily take 20 hours to complete. $100.00 bucks for 20 hours of work. That works out to be 5 bucks a hour. Am I missing something here?

1 hour? you're going to get shit for 1 hour. it should take much much longer for what you want.

he said they are already in WMV format. but it should still take longer than an hour if he wants a good product.

Movies are already digital and in WMV format 400x300 @ 768kbp/s. each movie is around 500MB. Ok so maybe it will take 1 & 1/2 hours each. i don't count encoding or transfer time as you don't have to do anything or be there for that. and all that depends on your system and to many variables for me to pay for it.

There you will find ready trailers, but if you like to get trailers from your movies you have any idea how long it will take to create a good trailer? 20$ per Trailer will not work, sorry. If you like to get a professional trailer, just let me know.

To create a good trailer can take around 3 hours to produce. Depends on the material you have to work with...

You should expect to pay $60 - $75 per trailer...

It is not min. wage work, it takes time to learn premiere...

I found there are a lot of different people out there. Some guys will take 6 hours to make a good trailer and others an hour. We found and hour to an hour and a half from these movies is enough time to make a very decent trailer. i used to have Premier people on staff to do this stuff, and I don't anymore. Unfortunately i don't have enough time myself to keep making them all. The type of trailer needed for a feature movie is a bit different then the type of trailer needed for a 30 minute scene to get people into a site. You want a trailer that also looks good on TV without giving the viewer a caesurae:-) As for the pay well this is what it is worth to me to save time. I am not looking for the guy that will do a better job then i would (i do a pretty decent job as i have been doing digital video for over 10 years) i am looking for the guy that will do as good of a job.
