why do people settle for Sobe?

Paraphrased of course, but I hear that a lot.

If it's "cheap" or "shitty" why use it? Just kinda curious.

Sobe's his own worst enemy, he's whored his own and Joe's content out so much he's reduced it all to filler status.

and filler content is a dumb idea, surfers aren't that dumb, if the only reason it's in your site is to make it seem as if you have alot of content they are on to that. Quality and quantity is the best, second best is quality, quantity comes in third.

Actually, many surfers don't mind filler content that much, as long as the quality is good enough. You see, most surfers have not seen 95% of the most whored-out content. So, to them, it doesn't make a huge difference.

Note that you also need exclusive, recognizable stuff as your primary content. Surfers don't mind filler content being used as filler content, they do mind filler content being used as the only content.

Paysite owners would have to be a fools not to have Sobe's content.

There have been times where you could buy every single video set w/pics he has for under $1000.

That was like 200+ 30+ minute videos for under $1000? (I believe he even sold them all for $500 once?)

How much does a single exclusive shoot cost you? $1000? More?

Exlclusive is the only way to go anymore.. but if you're on a shoestring startup.. sobe filler should be part of your plan I would think.

I can't find a single content provider that has what I'm looking for. I've been searching every resource for the past few weeks and it's no where.

1 of 2 things comes to mind.

1) it's crap content and no one is providing it because it doesn't sell.

or

2) no one has tried to produce it yet.

either way, I'm keeping my mouth shut about it, and I'll most likely have to produce it myself.

Why not use filler content in some stand-alone galleries and rotate it for eternity unsing our solution, for example.

so you could have something as following:

- exclusive shots
.....
- bonus pictures
- gallery1
- gallery2

and make them updated automatically with cheap, but good enough filler content.

I'm sure this could be a good option for start-ups who do not have enought money to have 100% exclusive content on whole paysite.

Filler has its purpose. But there's plenty of filler around that you shouldn't need to buy from a fuck-up like Sobe. Contact JStyles (sp?), D-Money, Vittorio, or even Joe from AMA Content for some filler movies/pics.

I don't think any paysite member is going to complain about getting 20 gigs of movies in the members area, even if they have seen some of it before on another paysite, it's unlikely they have seen it all. Most paysites I have seen the members of only have shitty movie feeds.

The movie is called "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" It's a british comedy. Nick The Greek is just a small time hustler. A middle man.

But I like the name.

The image above is from the Sopranos I think. I just did a search for Nick The Greek, and that's all I can ever find. But I think it suits me well.
