well I'm looking to pump quite a bit of traffic thru the server... dedicated... I was looking at the 5 or 10 mbit deals at jupiter...

ifyou have any deals better than that... you can post them... but keep in mind.... I"m leaning towards jupiter... as their reputation seems to be top notch amoung some of my good friends

This is the PB and J special, if you don't mention PB and J to me when you're ordering, it will be full price. In the PB and J special you get a 10mbps line for $450 monthly, no contracts involved. If you don't like your first month of free hosting, I will personally help you find another host that suits your needs. Remember, the PB and J special.

With that said, I have heard good things about Jupiter from friends. I'm sure poppy will be contacting you soon.

What's the extra? The re-assurance that you will never actually own the servers you purchase?

Just go with Jupiter, they are the best of the best. We have 3 servers with them and never have ANY downtime. Their tech support is the best i've ever seen, with any company.

I think Jupiter cares???..and I don't know much about phat servers except from what I read, and if memory serves me correctly, they use some cheap bandwidth, and this sly guy spams every hosting thread there is, or just about all of them...... I just think it's pretty low class to jump on every hosting thread there is. The thread here asked for specific comments on Jupiter, and NOT for general hosting recommendations...

I have dealt with Jupiter through some customers of mine and they seem to like Jupiter a lot. I have been looking at server prices lately, and from when I have dealt with Jupiter I would thing they would be #1. I am still debating between m3server, oxeo and jupiter.
