total newb question about CC processing.

A lot of you use ibill, and the other CC processors, but I wonder
why not just get a merchants account and process sales
yourself.

Sure you'd have to spend some time everyday going through
the bullshit scammer transactions and canceling them, but
wouldn't it be worth it? The money would arrive instantly and
you'd make more because ibill wouldn't cut off % of every
transaction.

I must be missing something here, because I don't see why
all these big pay sites don't do their own merchant transactions.

it can be done in a week if you have a business and a business checking/savings account.

i don't know about it being hard, but im sure there must be
other drawbacks.

I'm just going to say that anyone out there that is doing 50k/month + and at least three months of processing statements, I can get you set up with your own merchant account about 72 hours after the documents are submitted; with a stable US bank.

and that is without those crazy set up fees of $2k or $3k

It took me a long time to put this together.

I'm absolutely serious, but the bank won't be writing this kind of business forever, they want to keep their portfolio balanced.
