Geo Targeting Scripts

Hey I have been looking for an effective way of geo targeting foreign traffic and I found out these ones

any experiences?
Or should I stick to easy j a v a s c r i p t ?

I highly recommend http://www.ip-sorter.com/ We use it on two of our servers.

You can't geo-target thru js. You can sort by language, but not by country.

gateway69 - quick question - Can your system be set up so that ALL traffic from a certain country is redirected, regardless of what webpage they go to on my domain...or can only traffic to a specified gateway page be redirected.
If only a specified gateway can be redirected, then can several gateway pages be entered into the program?

i'm assuming you mean by browser language and ip location, if that's the case, what do you recommend should take precedence if they are different?

I did some extensive research before going with a geo targeting script - and I went with Richard's IP Sorter.

You should use each for different reasons.

For eg, use IP to determine the country. You can now offer billing/content solutions local to that country.

Then use language to offer translated versions of each solution.

This way, you could target a French person in Germany, with a German dialer translated into french

dont buy anything called Geo Redirect PRO. some fuck head took what we had, and we had them shut down on a host but they moved, the guy is in china didnt know what he was doing wrong. its still the same shit deal and I wouldnt deal with anyone who rips off someon elses software/web site ..
