anyone know how, or know where to find easy to understand tutiorial on how to set up sendmail on a freebsd server?

Most servers have sendmail already, I would post what exactly you are trying to do and you might get a better response

want to make these forms send me an email with the info when they are filled out and submit button clicked.

[Why]

there should be an MTA installed on your server by default, if there isnt then you need a new host that has a clue.

other wise all you need is to have the form submit it to the mail command in perl or php.

just went and looked and formmail is not what we need. Sendmail is on server, just not configured properly
