Gallery Makers Question

I hired a personal friend of a friend to make some galleries for me, I figured it would take a couple of weeks to make 25 galleries for $50, but its been about 2 weeks and I barely have one finished gallery, lol.

It's not a huge problem since this is a completely side project for fun, but whats a good rate for 25 galleries, maybe I should just hire someone already doing this?

The cheapest I've seen for individual galleries is the Gallery People, and although some people have had good experiences with them, I think the bad experiences outnumber them by double. I know quite a few people (including myself) will give discounts for bulk orders, but $2? That's hardly worth the time and effort, and not much of a motivator to work. Good luck I guess.

I dont need anything fancy with templates. I actually provided him with the exact template I wanted used. All he had to do was browse a paysite with galleries, make thumbnails and link it together. Change one line of text (optional) and thats it.

Get a decent program for making thumbs and you can have a gallery easily done in 30 mins, that includes time for a smoke break.

With that in mind whats a good price per gal for 25 total ?

$15 even if all I need is to have thumbnails inserted and linked to the larger images ? I mean you could definitely get 3 of those down an hour, thats $45/hr, thats a pretty damn expensive rate for galleries.

I know you obviously do more work, but this is all I need, something really not creative, just repetitive. I mean I could code up a CGI for it, but honestly I just dont have the time. Then again.. ?

Buy AVS Create and do this all yourself. If you want simple galleries like that...all you do is upload the content, banners and links and run the program.

You can make 1 gallery or 100 in about 15 minutes...using your own templates.
