Yo you are wrong. Beef Jerky is a great snack and high in Protein.

Its one of my favorite things to eat on road trips.

Pemikin(sp) brand is my fav.

I make my own and is far better than store bought shit. It's really quite easy to do.

3#s of meat will make a pound of jerky. The leaner the meat the better. I usually use london broil and get it on sale for a couple of bucks a pound.

A food dehydrator is about $30.00 USD

Add a few bucks for marinade.

1 pound of jerky costs about $8.00 and is fabulous.

I like hot and spicy, the kind with the pepper seeds still on them.
