Weekend warrior webmasters...

Seems like there's a lot of webmasters that just work on the weekend... I guess there's fulltimers and then people with regular jobs just looking for extra money on the side on the weekends -- usually Sunday I think because that's when most places are closed.

I don't see why fulltime webmasters would have a fixed schedule unless they had to do some movie post updates or some scheduled members area stuff... What's your schedule like? Mine is totally random...

I think a non-fixed shedule is both a blessing and a curse.

Its nice cause you always have time for other things whenever they pop up.

Bad cause you need to motivate yourself to start work .. sometimes it can go days without nothing happening and that's frustrating (at least if you have specfic ideas of how to expand). A partner that kicks you in the ass to start work usually help me though (or the other way around).

I am working on getting organized enough to have a schedule.

1000 things bitching at me about it.

GF wants her time
I don`t have enough time to work on members areas alone
I need to make promo content for webmasters
I need to make banners just to have
I need to build three more tours
I need to finish two members areas
I need to edit 40 GB of movie content [arriving tomarrow in fact]


The list never stops growing. Sometimes I wonder if I could eliminate the #1 time killer, but its pretty tough.

Anyone that makes serious money because of work and not by accident, has a schedule, whether it is ten AM or 'when they wake up' or 8 AM to 9 PM -

Mine is generally ten AM to 3 am - just depends if I see the girl.

I have somewhat of a daily schedule. I always do submits right away in the morning. After that I do whatever needs to be done or is on my list of things to get done.

I would be willing to bet most, if not all, of the big players have set schedules that they follow. It's too easy to get distracted without them.

mines random as fuck and i seem to do work more at night than anytime else but i think i should create some kind of 'hours' where i work so i make sure i get shit done.
