    HypoThyroid??

Anyone got hypothyroid (as opposed to hyper)?
If so..was wondering what you take for it.
I take synthoid or whatever it is..but it really doesn't seem to be making that much of a difference.

What I hate about it really besides the fatigue issue is that there are times I just break into a sweat for no reason, even when it's really COLD! Very embarrassing..my endo doc says it's the hypothyroid. So just curious what those of you that have the same do for it besides even prescribed meds.

    Thanks!

Cow thyroid and asprin when you get sweats. Just go down to one of those nutrition centers and ask them, they will hook you up and honestly it is the same damn shit they prescribe just cheaper.

      Look at your diet.
Cutting sugars out big time helped me lower the dosage...
and energy levels are much better.
Flax seed oil is also very good.

There are plenty of books on this stuff...I have links to articles ont the net..just not on this puter....there's a lot of info out there...
like anything else with regards to related issues.....research, educate yourself.....don't let the doctors tell you what is up from down....!!!!

I've heard some really bad stuff about Synthoid. Make sure you read as much as you can about it.

My aunt was recently diagnosed with a hypothyroid. I don't know what she takes, but she said it's supposed to take 3-4 months to work.
