I think it's enough. For an FNP Premium you need only 300 images. Imagine... if you were to use 500 images with your 10K that's a total of 20 Premium sites. 33 if you use 300 images. Now if you build a PaySite it could be enough content. You can always try it and see!

Just last week he was looking for script coders for a prdoduct that would revolutionize the porn world as we know it, but he dosn't even have paid hosting.

I know he's been through a lot of shit, but there are steps to opening a paysite. It's like a ladder. At least that's the way I see it.

I am by no means a pro on paysites -- but I know at least a couple of programs that focus on quality/originality rather than quantity... easier said than done though :p

you could lease some plug-in content like some games and a live cam feed, maybe a webchat. that could flesh it out for you if you want a paysite. if it's an avs, you've got enuff.

First off...I never said I was going to compete with the BIG paysites..
Second..Unlike most of you all..I have yet to create any paysite? So, due to no experience with it, I thought I'd ask the ones that know..I've seen quite a few paysites with not so many images...Besides..I don't plan on a mega site..just a small site..I planned on making the site free..(To an extent)..

My idea was to choose 2 sponsors to discuss my plan with about an idea..

Surfer joins my site for FREE for one year & get's 3 days free pass to several sites of 2 sponsors..THEN..if surfer does not cancel the 3 day pass, it would in theory recur at $signup rate X # of sites in package x 2 sponsors....

I just have motivation to try things..to experiment..to challenge things..to take on tasks & see where it can go...After all, if you can't have fun with it..then you can't make money with it...

a paysite that retains with 500 mb of content? on updates alone, we add like 4 - 6 times that, per month, per site. and you'll need more than that if you aren't shooting exclusive.

but if you are talking an avs site, that's a very different thing. you are not selling a stand alone site, you are selling access to a whole shit load of little sites.

You figure, by the time I finish creating the tour, aquire the billing processor, code the pages, build the graphics, build the interfaces, aquire the domain name, set up an affilliate program, aquire an adequate host..aquire all necesarry records & legal doc's..(Were looking at least 2 to 3 weeks here..)..Well, that's a start..Kay..now after this..it's time to get MORE content because my surface is prepped so I can apply the finish...

NOW, I'll ask again..is this enough to work with to START a paysite..Not complete & make a whole..START OUT..Granted it will probably be a few weeks before any major traffic comes in..you know how much could be added in that time?

So..how much content did you all buy when you started your paysites or avs sites..
You go out & buy 50 gigs for the first start then 2 weeks later add another 50 gigs for your bi-monthly update..
In a year you must've added 1200 gigs of images....

maybe try reading the thread again. several people have mentioned that for a stand alone pay site, you'll need several gigs per month of content for updates. this doesn't include your 'base' content which should *much* larger volume than your updates. and unless you are shooting exclusive content only, your milage will vary.

500 mb is not even close to being enough to start a pay site, let alone retain members. avs is a different story. completely different things.
