    Need help with creating membership?

How do I code my site, so that the surfer has to enter their e-mail address to enter?

Thanks satan..I checked them out..did'nt find what I need..
I am trying to force surfer into entering email address into an email panel to gain access to my site..

      OK..
surfer comes to warning page..clicks enter..
      surfer then sees email panel..
"Enter your email address to ENTER site!"

after surfer enters email address I want the content page opened..

      How do I do that?

Use FormMail.pl, make a form with a text box and a submit button, make it required that is be filled with a valid email addy, slap a submit button on it, and make the result page the page that you want them to access. Make the "Fucked up" page, the page they go to if it's not filled out. Simple. Should take you all of 7.3 minutes to set up.

It's a sponsors opt in list?
With their code, the surfer never leaves the page..
I need to figure out how to rewrite it so the sponsor code don't get fucked up?

If you're using a sponsors code, you might wanna ask them to modify it (or ask if you can) for whatever you're trying to do, because alot of sponsors don't WANT their code modified and some will terminate you if you do.

spacedog, try contacting Mr Yellow. He has a script that does kind of what you want. Here's the link to the script and his email address <a href="http://www.webpimps.com/scripts/zineup/">Zineup</a>

It's not possible to write to a file using javascript. Scripts like you are looking for are a dime a dozen but you'll need to use Perl or PHP.
