    Mpeg editing/titling/coding software

    I need a simple software that can add titles (text) to mpeg video and maybe do some simple cut/paste editing. If it has an avi-mpeg encide/decode option even better, but I need a simple software. Any suggestions?

          I don't really need the grand daddy of editing software. Something much much simpler anyone? I just need to add text to video.
