mpg.. but then you increase your file size by a factor of about 3 - 4 for the same quality.Originally posted by NaughtyJenn
what about mac based users?
you can do mpg at about 1.5 megs for 10 seconds.SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.Comment

With wmv 7.x close to anybody will be able to watch the videos, even mac users. For 8.0 there is no mac version available as far as I am aware of and I do not know if the new 9 version (wich is brilliant) will be already available for other systems than win 2000 and win xp. I only know that the old 95 and 98SE users have big problems with the new 9 version of wmv
MPEGI everybody can use, but the file sizes are huge if you do close to VCD quality (1150kbits)
At the moment the wmv codec is the best selection (in my opinion) which could be watched by close to 96% of all usersComment
