Help with Domain Transfer

I am transfering a domain from one registrar to another.

I confirmed all emails and the "losing" registrar already confirmed that the domain will be moved to the "winning" registrar.

But even after a week, the domain did not "arrive", i.e. it's not visible in whois (although it is working fine) and I am unable to access the domain at the winning registrar.

Anybody has an idea where my domain could be? How long does this process usually take? I am a bit nervous.

(I already contacted customer support ... they say: don't worry this can take a while)

yea i have 2 experinces first 1 was like 4 days
second one took a week or so.

Does the domain still show in the old registrar's whois? Or is it missing from both? It's possible that the domain has transfered and your registrar is just slow in updating the actual whois data they provide.

Contact the winning registrar and have them follow up on it.

Include the history of the various approvals.

It doesn't show up in either whois. But at the winning registrar I am getting the following message: "Can't get information on local domain BLABLA.ORG".

I just noticed that on Networksolution's Whois the domain DOES show up ... still with the losing registrar.

So it looks like the losing registrar hasn't released it yet ... although he said so.

if you've got the message from the losing registrar saying they approved the transfer, send it to the winning registrar and ask them to apply some pressure to the losing registrar. The loser is dragging their feet.

Especially if it's been more than week. It normally doesn't take that long.
