    Converting Mpeg video

    Im looking for a program that will allow me to edit an existing mpeg video and then convert it to real video or quicktime or something simular to save file size.

    anyone know of anything that would help me with this?

          To edit a video you should try to use VirtualDub and to convert it, you may lik to use the standard tools of Microsoft (wmv), Real (rm) or Apple (quicktime), btw all of the tools are for free

          But, if you are looking for a Semi Professional Tool, you should have a look to Vegas 4.0 which converts your edited videos in close to any format

              convert it directly to Mpeg1,
              make thumbnails from first frame
              at once
