Post Count ?

Just curious, why there is so much creedence given to post count on this board.

Can anyone tell me how a large number of posts on any message board lends any credibility to the information being given ?

I think this is my post number 2 on this board.

Does that make me a know nothing newbie is the business ?

For the record I just webmaster a few small paysites no one has ever heard of.

A high post count doesn't guarantee anything, really. However, a low post count means you could be *anyone*... What little credability you can get out of post count is purely board-specific. It shows you've been around this board a while, but doesn't say anything about who you are in the greater scheme of things. Someone with a higher count has at least been around a little longer, and isn't a throw-away second account, though.
