I have never been to Vegas, but as my friend told me...
He was in a bar with his wife, somehow they got chatting to an old couple (in their 70s) from London. The old guy went to order drinks, and at 70+ years old, he was STILL asked for ID. The policy was, apparently, to ID 100%, and that way... they couldn't go wrong.
Drinking ages, I know nothing about. But ID is a must.

if u can grab a drink somehow, nobody will walk up to you to ask for id, they're just not allowed to hand you the drink, thats the only time they check the id.
but dont try to gamble, cuz they check id after you win some money and take all your winnings

Just drink at the parties and you'll be fine. Forget about trying to gamble anywhere though.
It would suck ass to win big just to have them take it and kick you to the street.

Its all 21+. Even booking a room is normaly 21+ in the bigger hotels on the strip at least.
No access to the casino floor under 21, but of course they do not card everyone. In my experience Clubs card now and then, but not all the time, especially not if you go to parties like the Players Ball or the like. But even if, the best parties always are the private ones anyway, definately no carding there ;)

I never got carded in Miami. Well, except at a club, where I had completly forgotten that my ID was in my name badge, and had about a 2 hour heart attach before realizing where it was.
I got carded every other time in Vegas. When I went with my parents last June, they carded both of us when my mom asked me what type of drink I wanted.
But, a lot of the places are 21 and over, and they can be kinda strict. Sometimes they are, sometimes they arent.Comment

true, but of course in vegas you have the problem that more than just drinks is 21+.. Thats what sucks really in my oppinion. Lots of young 18+ people in this industry (I know, could be seen as a good and a bad thing) and they can't get into the hotels all THAT easy, at least I had that experience 5 years ago."Think about it a little more and you'll agree with me, because you're smart and I'm right."
