    what do you mean exactly?

i guess it is similar to promoting an ezine in the sense that some of them are free signups, but you will need to provide your CC for age verification.

there are a TON of useful articles if you hit google with "avs webmasters" maybe?

    good luck

Aren't the AVS's in trouble right now due to the new Visa rule? Or was it only a few that this applied to?

True. AVS, age verification, participating sites and lots more are now banned words. Some AVS companies even had to change their names and domains in order to stay. Everyone's affected.

You can call it a group of sites..you make a site and so do others..and then they need to use there CC to get access to all those sites+ they get a free trial(or they need to pay for it) to a paysite for a month. All avs sites is just a way to say this is something more than just a paysite.

              kind of team work

I went from 100 to 313,000 satoshis in 2 days! Lots of daily freerolls...

The start attraction to AVS sites is the fact that there is a whole bunch of sites in on this one AVS. Your pass gives you complete access to all the members area's. Its apparently better than any paysite could offer.....

When the surfer signs up they truley do get a free pass but in the small print they get charged a small fee for a pass to a paysite. If they cancel this pass then they no longer get charged....

Some AVS's work different but thats the general idea

If you cant lean on the age verification angle and cant use the fact that you get access to thousands of other sites it strikes me that the best two sales pitches for AVS have just been rubbed out.

Thanks for my site plug Kevinl

Basically AVS systems are getting raked over the coals by Visa, and basically the days of leaching off AVS linklists are long gone now that many of the systems are having to make their linklist pass protected.

                      BUT
If you use AVS like I do, basically as a aquick easy way to setup a paysite and you just use them for processing purposes, AVS's are still a godsend. If you have your own traffic and you just want to sell some passes, most AVS's will let you pitch whatever you want as long as you are opted off their participating site linklist and you have steady traffic to send em.

All the sites I send traffic to still say "Access 100,000 sites" as well as "We use Blah Blah Blah AVS to make sure underage kids cannot access ourt site"/ Of course if you are just gonna try and send 5 hits a day and get 1 sale a month, no one is gonna bend the rules for you, but there are plenty of deals to make
