    Computer Help

    Hey,

I am going to install Windows XP Pro today but also want Win98. How do I go about doing this?

I heard that I must first Partition my hard drive and then install one os on each partition. But which one first? And how will it know that I have to os's?

Plz give me some more info thanx...

I'm not really sure about Windows XP Pro but if it works the same as Windows 2000...then you first should install 98 and after that the XP pro...should work fine...

anyways after you try it let me know...cause i'm think on doing the same...

Thats the setup i'm running right now. It's best to do a clean install on both os's. First install your win98/se; i'm pretty sure you have to do this first, my friend did it the other way and had problems. Then create a partion with a program like partion magic or system commander; partion magic 7 has a feature for creating a partition for win xp. Just make sure you leave yourself more then the required space on the win xp partion as a lot of programs won't run from the win xp partition if there installed on the win 98 side.
