I think the government should actually pay attention to those 10 commandments. They break most of them on a regular basis. I don't see them as religious, I see them as rules for life... morals. I mean, I at least think they should pay more attention to "Thou shalt not kill."

But technically speaking, according to the separation of church and state thing, removing them was the right thing to do.

It can seem mystifying but polling 1000 people out of 280 million people is pretty accurate. The error is related to the number of people sampled and not the number of people in the entire total population. As you poll more people the error decreases rapidly.
