From the storyline, because they cheated death the first time around death got pissed and went all crazy on them

The way they were supposed to die the first time, a car pile up, is kinda normal. The way they eventually die is because death got major pissed off that they cheated the first time around ;) How would they cheat death by stopping a heart attack?

One of the best movies I've ever seen. I really thought the guy with the watch was gonna cheat death again in that one scene (don't want to spoil anything those that saw it probably know what I mean)
