    Would this bypass it?

i just posted this thread. http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=167217
about the google toolbar and popup blocker

so i got to thinking. i remember someone posted a webpage here that when you visited it.. it used vb or active x to open the cd tray.

now technically couldnt you use a small script using vb or active x on your webpage to activate the visitors ctrl key, which in turn would allow the popup to bypass the blocker?

    just kickin out ideas

Theoretically you can do anything with activex. There is still an easy way to run an executable from a webpage in all versions of IE/all security settings/all updates but I wouldn't mess with that. I discovered it over a year ago and I'm saving it to do something FUN.

IMHO I don't think that users with the google toolbar installed and the popup blocker turned on are going to be a very large % of your sales.

          Cheers,
