I still run a copy of NS 4.7x on some machines ;)
although the most recent editions are pretty groovey....

4.7 for me too. As soon as AOL took over it (after 4.7) it turned to shit so I am gonna stick it out with this version until the day I can no longer surf.Originally posted by TheJimmy

Hell yeh man, seriously one of thier best older versions...I think I run either 4.73 or 4.75, have both install exe's around here somewhere....
Lately I've been messing with Mozilla 1.4 with some addons and the Orbit skin...pretty smooth...reason I started looking at Mozilla was hearing rumor that NS is going away and the development will be pushed harder at the Mozilla level...so far it's ok...they just need to bundle the install & features better like NS does out of the box...

The main reason I use 4.7x is because of the email
Believe it or not, Netscape mail has been my preferred emailer of choice for over 4 years now, no virus spreading like Outlook, html support and everything. The browser is nice too and everything works perfectly. If it ain't broke, don't fix it and I don't plan on moving anytime soon.

although, don't get me wrong, I'm not a 100% hater of MS...
I applaud their ability to market and conquer anything they set their focus on...
I also think some of their products are actually pretty groovey....
I'm just a fan of choices...
...and their dickheaded big-brotherish style in dealing with the market (both users and other businesses) would have me think they only want the world to have one viable choice...
