Yet another shout for those of you in the UK who would like to process Switch, Solo & Visa Debit

This is a mail back from a customer who recently started processing Memberships via Nochex.

Hi Paul 1 other thing you may want to know,
we have noticed that in using Nochex we are picking up customers who would not normally buy online with ccards.
we note this becuase of the amount of emails we get saying "whats a webpage etc"
plus on cross with the past 3 years sale data base, we find a higher than average user from nochex is new.
Maybe to early to tell based on the small number of transactions, but i think due to it been UK debit, makes them feel more secure in purchase.

Actually it was me that wrote that email to Paul, at Nochex.com
we have been using them for aorund 3 weeks now, and they are working out great. SPAM ? Nope just another processing option.
We got em on all our main paysites and yes we do pick up sales UK based that we normally dont get.

Understand Jonny how ever trying to get any one here to even talk to me is bad enough.

You know I dont have time on my side and I will do what ever I have to to meet my quoter.

I have no budget for advertising, no budget for traffic purchases all I have is forums and my email account.

I got the mail back from a customer who said I could post it so I did, we are all learning.

I'm very interested in debit card processing, as I have a good number of people from the UK looking at my sites. I had a look at NOCHEX, but it seems that a customer would have to wait a few days to set up an account.

Is this right?

That's one thing I didn't like about paypal was the customers had to signup for the BS if they didn't have a account already.

People who do not have a Nochex account can make a payment of upto £50 instantly.

They basically go through a checkout no different to any other payment gateway.

Hi Res still working on it mate, we are looking into offering swift payment s to international webmasters though there will be a fee of about £25 for us to transfer money in this way.

All the other benefits of the service will remain the same. We as I said are talking with one dutch based firm if that one pans out the door is open for the rest to follow.

Also we had a meeting on Tuesday and the topic of processing all international debit cards was raised, this is something we will be looking at within the next 12 months.
