ok, I do remember a post about the title 18 thing and posting the address of the custodian of records....


for those of us that work at home... what are the rest of you doing for this? I tried to find the post to see what ideas were there but cannot.... I really need to know for my sept 1 site launch... I am not listing my home address... that's for damn sure.

In a perfect world maybe... but short on cash as I have spent a lot to get this site rolling... gonna wing the lawyer thing till the $$$ starts comming in. Kinda have no choice on this one...

Just pretend you own the documents, and if any law enforcement agents request them, just tell them you will give them the documents when the girls turn 18.

get an address at mailbox etc.

2257 says that the documents must be available to law enforcement within a reasonable time, which (as i recall) was found to be 15 minutes.

the custodian address must be posted in a prominant place on the website of the producer. there must be someone at that address to show i.d.s during business hours.

also you cannot use a post office box or vacant office as there will not be anyone there to show the i.d. to law enforcement, and if they have to contact you, it will be with a warrant in hand.

if you won't use your home address and you can't afford an office, perhaps you can't afford to put content on line that could have you sent to jail.
