Before I let loose, I am not a registered Democrat or Republican. I am registered independant.
I supported the troops after they hit soil, did not support the point up until the war. I do not whine about the election, Bush stole it fairly, Gore hurt himself by distancing himself from Clinton.
That all said, how in the hell can this be right let alone correct?
1992 Bush version 1.0 sets a record deficit at $290 billion dollars.
2001 Clinton admin. Kills the $290 billion dollar deficit and ends the year with a $242 billon dollar projected surplus.
As of 7-28-03 Bush version 2.0 has erased the $242 billion dollar surplus, and sets a record deficit at $455 billion dollars.
For ease of math he somehow blew $697 billon dollars in 2 years, only halfway done.
As for the war, Bush version 1.0 did the Gulf war, we lost 147 of our troops. Current Bush version 2.0 war is at 149 as of 7/19.
Now 10 billion dollars to "once again" overhaul the airline industry against S.T.A.M. attacks is to much to spend. Afterall no S.T.A.M. have ever been used in the U.S. So why waist money on prevention? When we need it to overthrow a Government "in the name of prevention, or WMD, or..."
Your safer in the air now, the Government says so, and they have air marshalls with guns on the planes, and crap load of new Federal employees to perform rectal cavity searches on 90yr old elderly dissabled grandmothers. Yet somehow the underbelly of the plane is full of unsearched "mailing packages", but your safe because a terrorist could not determine that his/her bomb was on the plane they wanted. No need to spend money here or fix this.
Somehow various Bush/Chenny buddies got to participate in pre-war bids on the post war contracts. Somehow Bush gets to keep his energy meetings sealed, yet we know which hand Monica used. Somehow FCC rule changes are being pushed through but did not make it. Micheal Powell will be stepping down soon cause he dropped the ball, Washington people are saying he will be replaced by either Rebecca Klien (former Bush 2 staff member in Texas, head of the Texas public-utility comission. Or Kevin Martin who helped count Bush votes in Florida 2000 election. Yet shhh there is nothing going on during his watch.
