help! email server problems!

    hahah, it doesn't take shit to set up an outgoing mail server on a *nix box, i've done it before, and i tried using authentication for the smtp server through my email client, and the passwords i have on the TW invoice and my earthlink account don't work.

          i finally got ahold of earthlink instead. apparently time warner locks out the earthlink customers from their mail servers, and i have to use the earthlink mail server. kinda strange, considering i'm on the RR network and using all TW resources. oh well, i wish time warner would have actually told me that, instead telling me i'm supposed to use their servers
