    mpeg compression technique?

    Hey-

I finally figured out how to get my DVDs into mpeg clips on my hard drive, but they are WAY too huge to be uplaoded for my members...something like 34 M for each 1 minute clip. Is there anything out there that will compress this? What is the normal procedure after this point? Any help is appreciated...

Yea, I use Virtual Dub to compress my vids for my site...a 3 minute vid can be compressed down to about 7+ megs. Let me know if you need more about it ;)

Load them all to ONE hardrive.
Remove that drive from your computer
Flatten drive using a car, trash compactor, steam roller.

          Or
Do a search on this board for Mpeg compression.
