    RPC Exploit After Effects?

I installed the patch yesterday and got rid of that remote shutdown bullshit ....... but my computer is running slooooooooooow since, programs are crashing. I can't find anything with virus scan. Lots of I/O errors though whatever those mean. Maybe it's just a coincidence ........ anybody else noticing anything similar?
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

      Still am having probs.
That is after re-installing W2K last night.
It isn't as bad as it was, but minor things are still buggered up.
I also ran 2 trojan scanners, and a virus scan, nothing showed up. It's just piddly little things now, though.
Reminds me of a fresh install on a clean disk, and all the little annoyances that come along with it.

I had a driver problem with my laptop sound card...but found a fix for that on the Vaio website.

i'm thinking i'm going to have to re-install WinXP.
I'm horrible at backing things up, been burnt twice already but I never learn. What's the best method of re-installing but hanging on to your data files like email boxes, psds, jpegs etc?

i have maybe 10 GIGS of data - how many CDs is that? 20?
