AHHHH but Bake (and xApster) you forget to mention to webmaster that may not know this:

Lightspeed is a 50%/50% Rev share program. and not a $XX.xx per Trial program. Makes a huge difference!

Sad, isn't it. if it's a 50/50 rev share, you get alot more sales, but not nearly as many sales for site that pay $30 - $40 per trail ... Makes you wonder, doesn't it. (you see where I'm going with this, so that's enought!)

The point I was trying to make is that that the 50/50 rev programs are much more 'honest' than anyone else.

I just find it hard to believe why the 50/50 programs always sell more ... and per trails ones don't.

I would say more like 6000-10000 before you "jump the gun". I've seen conversions go from 0:4000 to under 1:200 overnight.

I have done 1 in 1000 befor then the next 300 clicks produced 6 signups you are ok not really enough clicks to judge how it will do for you

and so have many others Ammo frequents here he has gotten some high numbers on the hun as well

its all about useing the gallery to sell the site not just to see how much traffic you can get to your gallery.

some guys that push lightspeedcash do 1 in 50 all day long everyday and a lot of that is TGP.

All these sponsors will tell you to wait it out -- but this is how they make money ;)

Let's say you know that the traffic that you are sending should convert at least 1:400 (based on your past experience w/ other programs) -- send a test 1500 -- then just stop sending... Keep checking your stats even after you stop sending -- sometimes it takes a day or two for the signups to kick in... if you don't see any signups -- fuck it. Another 1500 won't make a difference.

Changing your ads I don't think makes much of a difference -- from my experience -- either it sells on your traffic or it doesn't... if it doesn't -- just move on.

If you are going to see any signups -- you will see them when you first put up the ads... I think this is a general rule.

On the other hand, I think fewer signups come in around the middle of the week -- so do your tests around the weekend...

Lets say joe surfer clicks my link to King of Tease, goes thru the tour & says "nah", so he leaves..then he gets the exit consoles promoting the whole Lightspeed line, so he visits LSU..he likes it, so he signs up!!
Do I get credited with a sale?
OR, what if surfer says no, but later during week he goes back with a type in..Are there cookies doing tracking? And if there is, what if he deleted his cookies!

I made a gallery last month with them and sent LSU about 4,100 from that gallery and made 2 sales. I'll make another one when I get a chance. I might get a few more sales from that gallery though. I just noticed one of the pages was picked up by google and has received about 300 hit's from them in the past 2 days. Only thing is I can't find it on there when I search for it go figure

The other factor in your equation regarding how much traffic to send to a sponsor is where your traffic is coming from.

10k tgp hits is nothing, since it's crap traffic. 10k SE hits is something, since it's NOT that tgp crap. 10k AVS hits is the bomb since those are qualified surfers who have credit cards and will pay for porn with them...

So you can't just say I threw XXX number of hits at a sponsor and it didn't convert.

Interestingly enough, Hooper has what I consider to be a good formula for testing out new sponsors, maybe I can get his sorry ass over here to post it

It's easy as 1-2-3 :-)

1) Count your OWN hits that you send to a sponsor... use a 3rd party tracker or get something free like phpAds... just make sure that you dont rely on anybody else's click counts because click counts can be shaved just as easily as join counts.

2) Send 10k hits (by your own counts) to one sponsor... do the same with other sponsors.

3) Make sure the checks arrive, for those whose checks DO arrive, take the total dollar value and divide it by the number of clicks... you now have a NEUTRAL VALUE PER CLICK and a good idea what your traffic is worth.

Lightspeed are a straigt up crew. And their sites DO convert.

If you're not making sales with then you're definitely doing something wrong.

I'm doing about 1:108 for November with them on straight tgp traffic. And 1:120 since the day I started promoting them.

Its just probability. In this biz, its all in the odds. To improve your chances, change your messaging and give it more time. If it still doesn't convert, try another sponsor.
