      Hi!

      Help like MicroSoft:
      1. Please check network cable!
      2. Please check power!
      3. Please check you keyboard and mouse!
      4. Please check you hands!

Still did not work? Start from number (1).

Why are you having a problem??? You can network an xp and a win 3.1.1 if you really wanted to.

Just put them on the same IP range and they should work just fine
          not really much to it
turn on file and printer sharing and make a few shares to make it useful I suppose

i had a problem with this last year sometime..

turning on Guest accounts on the XP machine fixed all the problems.

Create different username for you Win'98 user into WinXP Active Directory or User accounts. Try to make same username and password wich you use onto '98 machine. May be it will help...
