digi camera?

id like to spend about $250

would like the best one i can get, proferably have a decent zoom, redeye reduction, and powerful flash for nighttime pics.

wonder what is a good one to look at?

Word. Only thing that sucks is it takes what, 4 AA batteries? Ouch. But best camera under $300 no doubt.

why?
I have a Powershoot S50 and I'd prefer 4 AA NiMh rechargable batteries instead of their proprietary battery.
The only thing I like is that it's Lithium Ion.
