    Aussie webmasters owed funds

How much are you owed by iBill, GloBill, PSW, WSB, ACPay or any other third party biller ?

Perhaps it is worth some of us looking into the prospect of launching simple collective civil actions (from Australia) against these companies and/or principals or former principals in order to recover funds.

While it is true that the agreements of these companies state that disputes must be dealt with inside the jurisdictions nominated in the agreements, these clauses do not hold up where the question of deliberate fraud or deprivation of property/money is concerned.

The basis of this is simple, credit card holders have purchased services from us in good faith, we have provided the services in good faith and third party billers have stolen the money from us (there is no other word to use).

While actually recovering funds is a slim possibility, we could place uncomfortable pressure on individuals involved with these billers (currently operating or failed) and perhaps raise awareness of this issue.

If there is enough interest I'll organize a mailing list and get some further advice on how to proceed.

On average, my site sends back 3 times as much traffic. Trade links?

OzMedia I would think Globill only owe me about $2k. I used them as my backup processor. I was thinking the same thing the other day about these buggers.

      Webmasters Trade Traffic!!!

Keep us in the loop too please Oz - we're owed a figure similar to what Kevin is owed.

iBill owe us thousands and have not paid plenty of other non US webmasters too. The webmasters who are affected seem to be the ones who dumped iBill around October 2002.

I know of one Aussie webmaster who is owed significant (ie: >$20k) reserves by iBill.
