            I would say Adobe Premiere - but again, it is a bit old and quite heavy to work with...

              For speed & ease go with the Sonic Foundy Vegas Video, for features go with the Adobe Premiere. That is assuming you want to spend as low as possible..

              You will also need a firewire capable pc or DV hardware card to import from vidcam.

                I'm using Ulead Videostudio 7 . If you never edited video before, this program is pretty easy to use.

                  hmm.. isnt there some kind of mac emulation for the pc? You can run windows on a mac.... I just dont think your going to find anything as cool for the pc.

                          Our studio uses adobe premier, mostly for the huge selection of add-ons and plug ins. It also goes hand in hand with photoshop and aftereffects. You could also just use aftereffects for short demo sequences (1 or 2 minutes). Once you have a good working knowledge of one good editing system you can pretty much get by on all of the main ones (Final cut, avid, adobe media 100, etc..)

                          I would start with a pro editing suite,,(listed above) ya never know how much you'll like it, maybe even change careers!
