This sounds like bullshit if you ask me. A few months ago some other guy claimed to be able to deliver broadcast quality video over a 28.8 connection.

Many experts on compression also agreed that these kinds of claims are impossible to really do.

I saw a T.V. show several years ago. It was hosted by that Fleischer guy that does the voice of Roger Rabbit.

He had a cube of silcon that had nearly 50 movies encoded into it. The coolest thing was that the cube was clear and was about 1.25" cubed.

It took 3 lasers to read the movie. One from each side.

I guess it's taking this long for the market to catch up to the technology. It was probably way too expensive back then.
