Look, I hate to be rude, but this is ridiculous. You post a new thread about your server being offline damn near twice a week, and you post in every other Candid thread.

Uptime is EXTREMELY important in this business. How do you keep gallery listings? Free site listings? Traffic trades?

You need to get your problem solved buddy. Either call them up and get on their ass or switch to another hosting company.

Candid gave me a dedicated server with bad RAM. It took me over a month of bitching to get them to finally look into why my server was crashing almost every single day.

I have ton of support tickets and ICQ logs. I don't even want to think of how much money they cost me.

Hey Turboface.. how did they eventually find out it was the RAM? My server at candid has been crashing a lot lately.. not every day.. sometimes it will go 5-6 days.. it has nothing to do with traffic levels because it will happen anytime.. The logs show nothing out of the ordinairy.. i'm thinking it might be the RAM also..

My server needed to be rebooted almost daily, for over a month. I was polite up untill the last few days. I turned evil on them. I was cursing out the tech support guys. I eventually made enough of a scene that they finally decided to actually look into what the problem might be.

So, my advice is to start bitching.

Working with candid techsupport is very frustrating. If you need ANYTHING done, better make sure you have at least 1 week to spare before it actually gets done.
